Andre's life has been defined by curiosity. Born in Chicago to Polish immigrant entrepreneurs and raised in Colorado’s scenic outdoors, he developed a unique blend of grit, curiosity, and adaptability early on. His family built and operated a chain of Polish grocery stores and small businesses, instilling in him a deep appreciation for small business resilience and customer service.

At 14, Andre left the U.S. to complete high school in Poland, where he lived with a German host family and attended a British A-Level school with a predominantly Korean student body—an experience that sparked his global outlook and cultural agility. Since then, he’s lived and worked across seven countries—including China, France, Argentina, and the U.K.—developing a deep respect for diverse ways of doing business.

Professionally, Andre brings over 7 years of cross-functional experience across auditing, cybersecurity, investment banking, and search funds. He’s led high-impact audits for global firms like TP ICAP and MS Amlin, simulated $100M+ cyber events, and managed risk during the COVID-19 supply chain crisis. Andre also brings deep exposure to the maritime sector, having worked with an oil tanker trading company, conducted full-scale financial, governance, and technology reviews for an LNG shipper, and supported shipyard logistics during dry dock operations. During his MBA at IESE Business School, he worked with two search funds and a Spanish investment bank, contributing to diligence, deal sourcing, and investment presentations that led to LOIs and investment committee approvals. He has led large teams on crucial projects involving recurring audits, new capability development, and strategic outreach efforts—most recently managing interns across due diligence and sourcing pipelines for active search funds.

Outside of work, Andre is an avid hiker and lifelong learner—passionate about cybersecurity, sustainability, and emerging technologies. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), holds advanced certificates from Stanford and the ICAEW, and has received academic honors from Robert Gordon University and IESE.

Today, Andre is building Heron Peak Capital with the goal of acquiring and operating a mission-driven, high-potential U.S. business in the sensor, water, or maritime industries. His entrepreneurial roots, global perspective, and analytical rigor uniquely position him to lead a company that creates lasting value for its people, customers, and community.
